Webmail Access

Access your email from any web browser with our modern webmail interface.

URL: webmail.mywisemail.com

Username: Your full email address

IMAP/SMTP Setup

Configure any email client with these settings:

IMAP Server: imap.mywisemail.com:993 (SSL)

SMTP Server: smtp.mywisemail.com:465 (SSL)

Username: Your full email address

ActiveSync Setup

For iOS and Android devices with push email:

Server: sync.mywisemail.com

Domain: Leave blank

Username: Your full email address

SSL: Enabled

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set up PGP encryption?

PGP encryption is supported in Professional and Business plans. You'll need to generate a PGP key pair using a tool like GPG or Kleopatra, then import your public key into your webmail settings. Detailed instructions are available in our PGP setup guide.

Can I use my existing domain?

Yes! You can use any domain you own. Simply update your domain's MX records to point to our mail servers. We provide step-by-step instructions for all major domain registrars.

What email clients are compatible?

All standard email clients work with MyWiseMail, including Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, iOS Mail, Android Mail, and any other client that supports IMAP/SMTP or ActiveSync protocols.

How do I migrate from Gmail or Outlook?

We provide migration tools and support to help you transfer your emails, contacts, and calendars. You can use IMAP to sync your existing emails, or export/import using standard formats. Our support team can assist with the process.

Is my data really stored only in Canada?

Yes. All email data, backups, and metadata are stored exclusively on servers located in Canada. We do not use any foreign cloud services or data centers. Your data is subject only to Canadian laws and PIPEDA privacy protections.

What happens if I exceed my storage limit?

You'll receive notifications when you approach your storage limit. You can either delete old emails, upgrade to a larger plan, or purchase additional storage. We won't delete your emails without your permission.

Do you offer email archiving?

Yes, Business plans include email archiving features. You can archive old emails for compliance purposes while keeping your active mailbox clean. Archived emails remain searchable and accessible.

How secure is MyWiseMail?

We use multiple layers of security including SSL/TLS encryption for all connections, advanced spam and virus filtering, optional two-factor authentication, and PGP encryption support. All data is encrypted at rest on our servers.
